I went to Florida last year and went to a "mac make up shop" they did my makeup and i loved it.The other day i discovered that Harvey Nicks in Edinburgh sell it but it,s so much more expensive here .I bought a foundation and blush again the girl did my make up and i tell you i left that shop feeling fantastic lol.What basics would you buy to start off? bearing in mind im on a budget going to buy something every month.I like a natural look and glossy lips but not pearly gloss yuk!!there was so much to look at and so many colours my head was buzzing i got quite excited actually!!

Well, I love most of the mac cosmetics! You're kind of on your own for picking colors. But I wanted to let you know that you can get MAC samples on Ebay cheap and then you can try all the colors!

I think its good to invest in a good foundation, blusher and concealer. I use Mac foundation and Benefit Benetint blusher. Ysl Touche Eclate is a good highlighter/concealer, and Mac also have very good concealers. Clinique do really nice lip gloss. For eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara I tend to use cheaper brands. Rimmel and Bourgeois do really good liquid eyeliners (for some reason I find they are easier to apply than the more expensive ones). Loreal telescopic mascara is amazing and costs less than £10.

i would get a good foundation a good bronzer a blusher a mascara and a pale eyeshadow i love make up and every1 always says mt make uplooksnice (not biggin myself up by the way am a beauty therapist 2 i use

I would go to the mac counter and see which products you like and colours etc and then look on Ebay as will be cheaper to buy products.
