Yes, it is possible ... but let me gather my thoughts first before I say anything more.

We can fall in love with people at the first sight, or even a fraction of second before that. There is something about all people that cannot be seen. We perceive more things than those we realise. Our perception is faster than our thoughts. When we see someone who we never saw before, something inside us either switches on or off without us even ever noticing this happen. There can be clear body signs observable to express what people subconscious feel about us. The example for this are when people naturally make an eye contact showing affection, or pass a smile signifying openness, or when they fold their arms on their chest meaning that they are close to us. The very smart and highly perceptive mind inside makes impulsive decisions that are not usually affected by our rational thoughts. We fall in love with people sometimes without a reason quite inadvertently. This is how it happens most of the time, and this is how I can happen anytime.

Yes is possible and also very true, but that doesn't mean that the person you sighted, will love you at first sight too!!!

That's why a person might be totally in love with some one and doesn't even know the name, but in the mean time, that person, could be ignored, because; LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT is NOT a two way street. Like they say.
