YES INDEED! Simply, Aled Jones did not sing the origonal that was on the film. The song "Walking In the Air" was later released by Aled Jones after the release of the feature presentation.
He made enough and now does things like songs of praise.

He did release it as a single. Why don't you e mail him and ask him about it. He does a program on BBC radio 2 on a sunday morning (except he was sick last week). They all have e mails on the website.
