Definitely overrated ! I normally hate new year dunno why but this year i am going to try and take a new approach to it , i may stay up til the bells then make a few phone calls and maybe have one drink , i am normally in bed before 12 , but i feel i am spoiling the atmosphere for my kids so i need to be fair .

so overrated!! new years eve is like any old weekend to me; just a hell of a lot more expensive!!
people go out with their mates, get drunk, some fight, some get arrested, some puke up - they do these things both on a friday and saturday night as well as new years eve... but it's just a lot more expensive on new years eve!!
get this, you're a regular in your local pub, but on new years eve they want you to pay a fiver, for the same old stuff, same old people in the same old place!!!!!! Whatever!!!

totally overrated, not to mention overpriced and overcrowded. Me and boyfriend are staying in with a bottle of champagne and laughing at all the mugs spending hundreds of pounds just to get cold, drunk and queue for a triple price taxi.

very overrated, I always think that everyone is having a brilliant night except for me, which is totally untrue. Im staying home with my boyfriend and our baby and we will probably have a nice dinner and a few drinks and watch a DVD.

I am going to a New Years Ball in my home town then spending time with friends at a house party... fun but relaxing and easy!

Yeah it is over-rated but then on the other hand it is a good excuse to go out! I'm going to a house party or out with my best friend-can't decide. Still, should be fun!

Totally over rated and always an anti climax. I'm going away for the night with my family and my boyfriend and I plan on getting drunk until its over then collapsing into bed!

Yes over rated. I am going to a friends house party. I would never go out to a bar/club etc too expensive, too busy & too crowded.

I'm working that night and my boyfriend is trying to get his nights switched so he can work a gig at the lake that night. I'm wishing I could be at the club with him at midnight.
