I take Midol when I start to sense the symptoms that I'm getting my period. I usually have the worst cramps before I get my period so I take Midol when I feel it coming. I get no pains during my period! It actually depends on your body, maybe take one when you feel discomfort like cramps, PMS and that bloated feeling.

If you know exactly when your period is going to start, sure!! But, I usually take it when I'm not feeling great. I have always thought that to be a good time.

If you know when you period will start take it the same day so you are not misurable. Hope you feel better. Also a heating pad applied to your lower stomach also helps.

Midol??? never... its more beneficial for you to take motrin (ibuprofen) to relieve period discomfort... if your moody and crabby just take a nap....if you can't take a nap just try to stay to yourself... hope this helps a little.
