esther rolle (florida) passed away a few years ago, john amos (james) was in many films, most notably roots and beastmaster , ja'net dubois (wilona) was last seen in charlies angels full throttle as bosleys mom, jimmie walker (jj) tours the stand up comedy clubs regularly, and janet jackson (penny) has become a platinum recording star as well as having an infomous wardrobe malfunction at the supper bowl.

JJ is a stand up comedian, both the parents are dead and I don't know what happened to the other 2 kids.
