yet seas at the on the spot are not lakes! the important massive difference is that seas are saltwater and lakes are freshwater. the reason behind that is the authentic massive difference between lakes and seas: lakes bypass out right into a river, which finally is going into the sea; yet seas do not bypass out. There may be some exceptions (like the finished Salt Lake), that are probably the outcome of the discoverer not having a clue about geography.
