Download a bootable password recovery CD such as OphCrack. It will recover your password from the SAM file and only takes a couple of minutes to do.

Restart and click F8 to get the options before you enter XP
choose Safe Mode
when windows starts, you'll probably see two users, your username and Administrator.
If you didnt set a password for the Administrator account when u installed windows, then you'll be able to log in as admin and reset the password or whatever you want to do
