please could help me i have been wanting a laptop for long time. The wii is just a new thing i want WHICH ONE.

Go with the laptop if you've been wanting it longer, plus who knows the WII may drop in price at some point, or you can buy it used once the novelty has worn off.

No, the wireless card in your laptop is just a receiver of the wireless signal, it only transmits back data about what you requested to get by clicking on things. It isn't transmitting a high enough powered signal to use it as a wireless transmitter for getting your Wii online no matter how close they are. You will have to buy a wireless router or an ethernet adapter to play your Wii online.

well the answer is simple....
do you want to just play games? if yes get a Wii
do you want to play games to some extent and be able to write letters/essays or work related stuff? if yes a laptop.
Looking on the practical side, No internet can make the Wii very boring as it has been designed for online playability and if you dont have many friends round to play multiplayer games, the novalty will probably wear off.
on the fun side GET A Wii.......

Depends what you want the laptop for. If it's for games then you will struggle with no connection as pretty much all games require the internet for patches etc.
So depends what practical uses you intend for it. If just for games then get a Wii.

A laptop with no internet will be quite unusefull with most of the latest games. If to choose I would pick a WII with an internet connection.
The best of course would be a laptop with internet connection.

What do you mean by NO INTERNET, all laptops will have a network plug, so herefore, internet. Not wireless neccessarily.
Look for the bargains, the Wii is cheaper than a good laptop, so I will let you compare

For me it's the laptop over ANY console,the availability of games er... "online", easy upgrade ability,and the real utility nature of the laptops make it a no-brainer. Plus I just love the mouse plus, W+A+D+S, movement keys to move in a game,much better in my opinion.It seems obvious the console makers agree since they all have mice,and keyboards available.If you are into FPS games the mouse as an aiming device cant be beat...
