i think its good because you can buy whatever you want with the money...whereas if u get a gift, you may like it or not!

A gift of money for adults is a good gift. They can do whatever they want with the money. For children it's a bad idea, they want toys of course.

I prefer gifts. It's not bad giving money, yet, if you spend some time to search for the perfect gift, it shows that you care.

Good for teenagers or for sending mail out of state or out of the country. Bad if it's just because you didn't feel like shopping.

It's kinda gives the message "I couldnt be a.s.s.e.d to get you a pressie so there". it's more special to give a gift.
