Pete Sampras can surely beat Federer!
The above answers says Pete cannot defeat federer
But they are all 100% wrong
and they justifies their opinion pointing out the speed and quickness of Federer and his ability on grass court
Pete Sampras was the king of grass courts.
Morover the serves of Pete Sampras is of far greater quality than that of federer.
The serves of Sampras was quick and acurate.
moreover Sampras was very tricky.
He had a heart to fire return the bullet serves of Goran Ivanisevich
But surely it would have been a wonderful match if Federer played against Sampras. But unfortunately Sampras belongs to the previous decade.
Anyway
As I watched all the wimbledon tournaments since 1987, watched Sampras and Federer winning it many times, I can easily say that Sampras could defeat Federer.
Sampras was a master, a great master of grass courts.
If you could get the videos of his matches, have a look at them.
His movements across the court are swifter than federer. He has a better feet balance than federer. Sampras reads his opponents better than Federer. And each moment of Sampras in his serve games are premeditated. Very strictly planned way to deal with oppoenents. And good execution.

had'nt achieved much.At that time Samprass predicted that

Roger is excellent. Pete was the best in his time. It would have been a treat to watch a match in which both were playing. Unfortunately, that will never happen. Hence, no point in making a guess, who will win.

Alway remember that every action there is equal and opposite reaction...so if Pete cannot beat Roger because Roger is fast, quick and stronger and heavily skilled but there will come any new guy who can easily beat Roger that can beat and compete anyone...because every dog has its day...

and i want to tell you something that , now there are none to beat ROGER. Its nice seeing him winning games.ROGER on grass court is unbeatable but someone might have born to beat him.(but i like Federer winning matches, i love seeing him play) and once again for your kind info, this is cricket section.
