He should stay to play for his club because he has already vowed to win back promotion for the club.

He is a class player and will go on to very big things but I think he should stay for the time being. Theo has been playing regularly for Arsenal and he will be a top top player in years to come, Arsene Wenger knows how to treat youth footballers unlike some of his fellow managers.
If he cannot go to a club like Arsenal, who have time for youngsters to aid their development, he should stay. He would never break in to the first team at Man U at the moment. It must be a tough desicion as Southampton just cannot compete money wise.
Lets hope they get promoted this season and he stays. That is how stars are found (andy Johnson a prime example)

i think he should stay - for at least 2 - 3 years. George Burley's shown that he can look after young players (Kieron Dyer & co) so he's not in such a bad place. Plus Manyoo have got Evra & Heinze. I read somewhere that Heinze's a bit miffed that he's not getting in the team & so he might be lining him up as a replacement should he go anywhere in the summer.

I have no idea why fergie thinks he needs a left back, if he was english i would say yes go ! but maybe the attraction of premiership football for his international career with wales will be the deciding factor.

i reckon less than fergie he may win more beneficial medals in spite of the undeniable fact that spurs may be an more desirable flow if he needs to strengthen more beneficial as a participant. From saints to guy u is a marginally vast bounce and that i think that less than martin jol the transition from the championship to the premiership may be smoother if he went to spurs
