I've heard you have to sing in front of the producers as 1st round then in front of judges. Are these both part of the same round? If not, are they at least on the same day? (Providing you get through the producers round.) Anyone got some info they know about the audition process? As much as possible would be highly appreciated, thanks!

There are about 4-5 rooms with 2-3 producers/reseachers in each room. Contestants are then given 30 seconds to impress them with their singing ability. The best and the worst 10% are then selected to go to see Simon, Sharon and Louis after they have signed a waver saying that their image can be used for all X-factor programming.

I know someone who knew 3 people who auditioned and apparently the first round you sing in front of the producers. Then if you're good (or bad) enough you get through to the next round which is where you sing in front of the judges.

The first auditions are help where they pick some really bad and some good, its all about making good tv!

This is with the producers, the you get a call and/or mail from them explaining that you need to go back at a certain time and place!

you then go back where you will be waiting round for hpours and hours!! Then if they have time you may get to sing in front of the panel!

The girl who lives next door to me was told to kick off big time if she got turned down, then to storm back in the room and throw her coat at the judges.

She refused to do it either way and got turned down.
The bad thing for her was she sings on the club circuit, i've seen her and she is really good, far better than some who got through so it's a bit of a lottery.
I think you get picked if you have talent, your a bit weird or you have a story to tell, the best would be having all three.

my brother in law auditioned for this series, he had to go along and was there with about a 1000 others, he then got put into a group, there were 3 in total, and when it was his turn he went into a room with one man in it,(who was reading the paper and never looked up from it) and was told to sing his song, he did the man said no and that was it!!
someone got put through and was told to come back at said time and place and they would see the panel, hope this helps!!

There you would be - faith Hill, this may be an excellent song... the others are greater undemanding options and you ought to face out, attempt recording all of those songs and get pals and family members or ideally somebody who won't deceive you or biased to p.c.. the suitable one.

This is why the show must be stopped. They let the terrible ones through on purpose to let them embarrass themselves on TV.
