I'd much rather have my birthday.Kids love it though so I suppose I would have to say it is the most wonderful time of the year for those of us who celebrate it

Nope now is the worse time, it's freezing, you're going into debt to buy the kids, family and friends whatever they wanted, you're heating bill is probably higher than all time, and whatever else can happen in winter time probably will happen. The best time is spring turning into summer time. Hopefully by than credit cards are paid, heating bill is so low and you can escape to someplace nicer for vacation.

Maybe for the economy. The most comercialized time of year. Mass hytsteria. Too stressful.

This is when we PRETEND is the best time of the year. Truly, more suicides happen then, than any other time, because people get very lonely. It's very difficult for those without families, so don't forget your single friends and neighbors.

One of my neighbours has a singing Santa in their garden, along with glowing snowmen, reindeer, and a distressing array of flashing light.

Yes. Unless your the homeless, it's freezing outside and your inside comfortably watching your kids opening up their present, downing a hot cup of coco, or cozy in your bed having sex. Just that hibernation you do under the sheet is worth it.
