Put a humourous question in the pet section or walk through a minefield with a blindfold on?
Personally l think you have more chance of coming through the minefield unscathed - do pet people have no sense of humour at all?
I'll be counting the thumbs down & waiting for a violation because if the question is not 100% right in pets thats what you get!

Well, it always makes me smile when I see serious responses to rediculous questions that are obviously just for fun. Life shouldn't be so serious all the time, people.
Although if I were you, better to take your chance in the Pets section than the Vegetarian/Vegan category. Daggers drawn in there with Christmas coming up (turkey versus tofu).

What you think is funny maybe terribly unfunny to others. There are a lot of tasteless 'jokes' posted in pets regarding sex with animals, eating pets that have died and other rather sad attempts at humour. I choose to not take the bait and will not bother to answer. Anyone that posts such stupid stuff better have a sense of humour themselves when it comes to the responses they are going to receive.

In all honesty a "pet" to 1 person maybe like a family member to another a lot of people myself included do not count the animals in my home as "pets" they are loyal and deserve to be treated with a certain amount of respect and love....not ridicule dude and so with this in mind I can fully understand why some people dont take too kindly to sarcastic answers.

its not that they dont have a sense of humour...its just that pets isnt the appropriate section for jokes
