It is just for your knowledge that vasectomy operation is 100% safe and better option as it can be reversed back easily.
If your wife has opted note that you should not go for open sex for at least 72 hours before operation. After operation you have to be careful for another 15 days atleast. Also check with her MC date and time

I am very tempted to say that you can never have sex again or your ‘you know what’ will get rotten you ****-head. How can you even think of sex when your wife is going under the knife? Don’t you care about her well-being? Anyway to answer your question… besides asking the doctor, who can only give you a tentative answer, you should make sure that your wife is mentally and physically ready for love-making or sex as you call it.

First let her get through the operation and come out safe. I think in about 6-8 weeks you can resume your normal operation.

why she should undergo tubectomy and suffer.
why can't you go for NSV (non-scapel vasectomy) which could be done in just few minutes and you can resume your daily chore in few hours, and start having sex in few days.
