Mohan + Rao - Mohan is a sort of synonym for Lord Krishna's name whereas Rao is a Surname used widely in South India as in P.V.Narsimha Rao,Venkata Rao . Also Mohan is Mohana ( pronounced Moh-a-na in Hindi and similarly in Telugu etc. as far as I know ) .

So I am guessing that you break the name to know its meaning - i think it is a combination of meanings of 'Mohan' and 'Rao'..
