Every doctor varies in when they induce labour. The main factor they look at is whether the baby is still ok inside the uterus. If at any point they feel the baby is not doing well they will induce you straight away. Usually the very max amount of time they would leave a woman is 14 days over the due date. I have been very lucky and all my babies came early but I also know many women who have been induced and its normally around 41 weeks. Good luck and try to have a nice spicy curry for supper!

I would not. Obviously the youngster remains to be in there for a purpose. It is one-of-a-kind if you're past due. But to do it every week forward for no purpose is kinda unnecessary. I can most effective let you know how magical and exact it's to enter hard work on you possess. I did not get the danger with my first 2. my daughter used to be 10 days overdue and my son had a center arrhythmia. So I used to be prompted with each. But my 3rd hard work began on it is possess with my water breaking. IT used to be an overly interesting enjoy that I would not alternate for whatever. So as anybody who has performed it each approaches, I might endorse you simply allow nature take it is path and allow your frame paintings as it is intended to. It might be anything you're going to in no way put out of your mind. I am no longer speakme approximately the suffering. :)

i think you should not wait more than 2 weeks past your due date. however, in reality many doctors induce at 41 weeks. there are lot of factors which determine induction and all of them try to figure out the health of the unborn. the tests to determine fetal well-being are many and should be done and repeated as necessary. for e.g, non-stress test, doppler studies, biophysical profile, you own assessment of fetal movement, any leaking of waters, etc.
good luck.

That depends on if your or your baby's health is at risk. I think it's usually about 2 weeks is the most they like you to go because of meconium inhalation, etc.
