Anyone know how to tan crocodiles skin?

I have used this to tan snake skins and it turn out very soft and usable. First I scrape all fat and such off the skin then I use ordinary table salt to dry it. You have to scrape and reapply the salt every couple of days till the skin is completely dry. Then i use Vaseline intensive care lotion to rub it down once it is clean and dry. You will have to rub it down several time and for several days until you get the desired softness.
