Fox News Channel is Joseph Goebbels' (Hitler's Propaganda Minister) dream come true!
It is right-wing, neo-conservative rubbish, dressed up as "fair and balanced" when it is anything but.
Rupert Murdoch (who owns Fox News) is on the record as saying he set it up as a right-wing alternative to CNN (MSNBC wasn't in existence then).
Hopefully Americans are getting the message, as Fox's viewing figures are sliding for the first time in its history!

Compared to what? CBS? The 'we will lie for profit or affiliation' station? Fox is at least able to admit an opposition source, however lame, into the equation. Mapes never understood how offensive it was that she would secretly support the Democrats while claiming to be neutral. CNN has not acknowledged that agreeing to support Saddam in order to stay in Iraq might not have been a good idea. The idea that you would attack Fox while ignoring the historic transgressions of the liberal media shows that you simply wish for the lies from your side of the spectrum to be unchallenged. Look at Fox's interview of Clinton this week, it showed just how weak Clinton was on national defense, and did so by using Clinton's own words. Would CNN have allowed something that made Bill look like an idiot to get on the air? Probably not. Did Fox alter what Clinton said? No, Clinton did the damage all by himself.

FOX news is no more propaganda than any other news outlet. It slants slightly right. Al-Jazeera is a propaganda machine for Al Queda. CNN (Clinton News Network) is propaganda for democrats and other liberals. MS-NBC is liberal. In other words most stations are propaganda for either the left or the right. What one must do is watch multiple stations to get the facts and try not to let the slant of the "journalist" affect how you evaluate the news. So yes I believe what I see on this channel and I believe what I see on other channels as well. But I do not believe all of what I see on any channel. I also read newspapers and periodicals. I gather information and try to make up my own mind. Hope you do the same.

Fox News may be the propaganda machine for the right (ie: Bush/Republicans) - I don't know. It's more likely that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC are propaganda machines for the Liberals/Progressives/Democratics. All media outlets in the US have an agenda. It's too bad 90 percent of them have taken a far left hand turn. In their (the left wing media) eyes, the US can't have victory in anything - because that would mean there is a loser. We wouldn't want that to happen, it might hurt somebody's feelings, and that isn't nice. The most we should hope for is success, that way nobody loses, and everybody feels all warm and fuzzy inside. C'mon. Tax the **** out of me so I can pay your way when you overrun our borders and turn our country into the third world cesspool you come from. Raise our crime rate and lower the wages. Let me pay for your lazy *** - healthcare, housing, education - 'cause you're entitled. Bomb my country's buildings and landmarks, We won't do anything because that might make people upset. Yep, you're right, Fox News isn't news, it's an alarm clock - Time to wake up!

Oh ANYTHING can be propaganda with the right frame of mind. Too many people interpret the movie "World Trade Center", for example, as propaganda against "filthy towel heads". :P
I think Fox News is a bit more sensationalistic than other news programs, but I don't think they're any more propogative (is that the word I want?) as any other news station.

No. Fox is usually just viewed for pure entertainment, not for actual news information. It is amazing the people that blunder on that channel! Sometimes it is downright hilarious.
Besides, one should never trust a news agency whose motto is "we report. you decide." Every news agency has some agenda. They should at least have the guts to admit it!

i prefer sycophantic to propaganda, unfortunately Fox is most likely responsible for many in the world thinking (wrongly) that the majority of Americans are all low in brain cells and intelligence.
O'Reilly is bloody hilarious
