You have been given all poor answers!! Here in SA there are standards that schools must meet. The school district with just one school in its district that do not meet these standards (all others here have at least 5 schools under standards) is Northside isd. The answer is obvious!!!! Northwest side of town or better known as seaworld area.

The four best school districts--in descending order--are as follow: Alamo Heights, Northeast, Northside, Judson.

Alamo Heights is in a city within San Antonio of the same name. Judson is in Converse with campuses in that area. Northside covers most of the northwest side of the city and Northeast covers (obviously) the northeastern side.

The largest district is the San Antonio ISD, which has some very good schools but also has some poor ones.

As a living choice I would recommend the northwest over the northeast side, preferably out beyond Loop 1604, but check around. The area near Sea World is growing very quickly, and is in the Northside ISD. Good housing available, but schools are being built so quickly your kids might have to attend more than one in the course of three or four years.

Stay on the north side outside either the 410 or if you can afford it past the 1604 loop! NEISD school district is what you want to stay in for the kids to have a good education!!
