Sheesh! Give 'em a break for goodness sakes. They've worked all year at boring school, who could want to make them do that?

No, I don't think that's a good idea. This may seduce students to prioritize earning money at the wrong time and putting education in the back burner. Let primary and secondary education students bond and enjoy their youth with family and friends. when they reach the university level, then that will be a better time for them to have part-time jobs.. Since at that age, they'd be more experienced and recognize the relevance of their education and have a taste of the real world as well..

I'm a student who is back for the holidays and believe me, I wish I could find some place that would temporarily hire me while I'm back. I hate taking handouts from anyone and want to work for my oney, so yes I believe students should work during the holidays.

Yes. You can't live on what the government gives you, it's not enough to pay rent. I'm working all the time throughout the year and not just when my studies are on a holiday.

Yes I think that students should definately work while they are break from school. They will never learn responsability if you give them everything. I worked everytime I came home from college no matter how long my break was.

It depends on their situation. Earning money helps all around and it gives them the ability to have references available to potential employers after they graduate. Employers fall on references more than the degree, in many cases.

i know this sounds geeky but if you become a runner at a law office it's a good job. you get payed well and the work isn't that difficult.
