I know-I hate that too! My guess is that these were the only people who could actually make it to the taping. As you know, the nominees are always there in the studio. This is just my guess, I really don't know. But when watching the show you can usually figure that the worst ones are the ones that will be up to win, and if it features a child it will win.
My, I have way too much time on my hands!!

Yeah, really why!?!? I honestly hate America's Funniest Home Video. A lot of the videos aren't even that funny. And I hate how the studio audience always laughs at them and the host's jokes. They always make that fake laugh at something that's not funny. It's kinda like that friend u laugh at his jokes just to make him feel good. If I was there I would be booing him. I mean really, the whole show is a bunch of crap. U know what I also hate, is that some of those videos are set up to make them funny. I hate that, I like the candid videos, although those aren't that funny either. So in conclusion, America's Funniest Home Videos are ironically stupid and not a bit funny. Sorry, I was ranting about my dislikes about the show.

Because a)home videos are basically only funny when you know the person who's getting kicked in the crotch, hit in the face with a bat, blowing something up, etc., and b) anything that's actually funny probably couldn't get by the censors.
