1. yes it is very possible. Thou the chances of one of you liking the other is very high.
2. yes it is normal. you shudnt be jealous, you shud be happy for her, and spend some YOU time alone, or find other friends. jealousy however is human nature.
3. i think that it is possible for best friends to survive as a couple, even if they arent as lovey dovey. ive seen it happen. If they broke up--- i guess it depends on the people. some people remain friends with their ex's, some do not.
i think its better to stay friends, friends last longer than boyfriends, or girlfriends, these friendships can be picked up after a few years...and it wouldnt be awkward...with like a NEW gf/bf.

2. If this is happening, are u sure that u dont have feelings for your bestfriend? Cos if you jealous, then there is a great possibility that you are interested in him more than just a ´friend´
3. Yes bestfriends can become a couple and still remain friends if they break up. Friendship is suppose to be strong so that should not break up your friendship. you better to go out with than your bestfriend?!

Men think of sex like 6 times per minute. Woman think of romance all the time. A relationship is 100% or nothing. Playing a game of love is a disaster waiting to happen. You need stability and predicability. Not having a commitment is like shopping and never taking your items to the check out stand. And if you don't take it to the check out stand you can't open it and use it because it doesn't belong to you.

Definitely a guy and a girl can be bestfriends; there's nothing yet in this world contradicting this. Huhhh even if you guys are bestfriends, deep deep deep deep down you could be attracted to him or vice versa (opposite attracts) but you have to remember that you guys are friends and you surely dont want to ruin this lovely relationship. Yeah at times you can get a little tinge of jealousy, (i can relate to that) it's pretty normal i guess. Learn to take it cool; also get it clear that you guys are friends he may have other friends as well but that doesn't mean he'll forget you. Usually bestfriends to couple relationships are the best ones. You have to choose; if you want to get into a relationship then if ever you guys break up the friendship will also be gone.
