Unfortunately, there is no special institute for higher education for dyslexic students. This is primarily because the government is stressing on 'inclusion' i.e. the mainstreaming of children with learning disabilities so that they face fewer adjustment problems in society and in the place that they will work in the future.

However, there are special concessions given to students who have learning disabilities.
1. Concession in writing time in examinations
2. Use of calculators in mathematics (especially in case of dyscalcula)
However, medical proof is required for the above...

There are also specialised courses such as distance education courses or part-time courses which allow the pupil to learn at his or her pace.

If you intend on doing your higher secondary certificate, you could opt for NOS or take a vocational course offered in many surburban colleges including Parle Tilak Vidyalaya.

You can make further inquiries through the Universities (Mumbai, SNDT etc.)
