I've been charting CM for a few months but rarely check my cervix. We BD'd on a friday and tested + for OV on Sunday (the test stick turned pink immediately and the line was there as big as you please, so it's possible I really began ov sometime Sat. night...I checked later that evening and it took a few minutes, but still showed a faint line as I watched the pink crawl up the stick) Anyways, it's possible I'm pregnant but I'm not due yet, so haven't tested. I thought I'd check my cervix this morning...any time I've checked, it's been pretty high...this morning it feels very low, very hard, and extremely towards the back. I know my uterus is tilted but didn't think my cervix would be quite like that! For the record, there's nothing else I could be feeling, is there? It just freaked me out a bit!! What does the start of a prolapse feel like? Don't just tell me to see the doctor because I am going in a couple weeks anyways as I'm due a pap...Just wanted a few opinions.

TBH, Momma, I was too freaked out about the position to completely check for the dimple...It just seemed such an odd place to feel anything remotely stiff that I didn't feel around any longer...I'll go have another check though and let you know.

yes...it's definitely got the 'dimple' in the middle...

Other than your cervix, you shouldn't be feeling anything else, atleast not that I'm aware of. Maybe it feels lower because your pregnant and your uterus has perhaps grown just enough for you to note a difference. I'm not sure. When was the first day of your last period?

I would say it is possible that you conceived and your cervix has closed. If you were aroused, you may have been feeling your G-spot, but I would think you'd know the difference since that's actually in the front wall and not all the way at the end.

I do want to point out, and I don't mean to be a downer, but according to the directions in my OPK's, when the hormone peaks, it indicates that ovulation is ABOUT to happen (usually within the next 24-48 hours), not that it already has.

Can you feel the os? (The dimple in the middle that is the opening to your womb.) That would let you know for sure that it is your cervix. Normally the cervix feels like the tip of your nose. When you are ovulating, it feels more like your cheek.
