Losing blood for 9 days isnt normal. Get medical attention immediately. There are somethings which should never be compromised. Infact you should have started pills after discussing it with your doctor. Nevermind, go to your doctor ;now'.

If it is the first time ever, you have taken the pill then it could just simply be your body getting use to it. However, if not, perhaps you should talk to your doctor. I take my pill on the last day of my period, the last one I take is 3 days before I start again so I am having a weeks break. But then saying that some pills are different.

I belive a more medical opinion would be more detailed, however the pill has an unusual effect on periods, because it has different substances in them it does effect the normal cycle somewhat, it should stableise itself out through time. It is normal to have these problems with the pill so try not to worry, must be frightning for you. Hope you are otherwise well. Hope this helps reassure you, your going to be ok.

Don't panic just yet - it can take a few months for your body to adjust to the pill. If the bleeding continues for more than a month you should see your doctor, but it will more than likely subside over the next few days. Also, whilst you are bleeding you should maybe think about taking an iron supplement

All hormonal birth control messes with your periods to some extent. Keep with it for 3 months and if things don't settle down to a more manageable routine, change to somethinge else.
I recently got my implant removed because I was getting 2 periods a month, but Depo Provera means that I get no period at all. Every body reacts differently.

NO IT'S NOT NORMAL. YOU BETTER GO SEE A DOCTOR, AND DO IT AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE. WHEN YOU START YOUR PILLS, THE NORMAL REACTION OF YOUR BODY IS TO REDUCE THE QUANTITY OF BLOOD AND TISSUES THAT ARE THROWN OUT DURING YOUR MENSTRUATION. YOU MOST LIKELY ARE HAVING SOME KIND OF A HAEMORAGE. DON'T WASTE ANY MORE TIME WONDERING COS IT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS.
