OK, I have a dead Cell Phone, what are common new ones?

Question

As I have asked and gotten answered, the battery costs more than
the cell phone. What are common models to choose from and
compare?

I have given up on the phone, it is obsolete, and the battery is strange, and no one carries it locally - much cheaper and sensible to just get a new cell phone WITH a new battery !! But, which ONE ? What is out there?

Hi there:
The companies that MAKE cell phones put out a dozen a month, so that a complete list is very difficult. Listing the most recently supported ones, is not too bad though, with the emphasis on SUPPORTED, so that parts, batteries, and accessories are still available, and most games and downloads will work..
