Yep, as does a lot of other cereals. Obviously, the smaller cereals, like Fruity Pebbles, don't do it nearly as much. As far as bigger ones go though, try Cookie Crisp or Resee's Puffs. Both are made of a softer cereal that is fine on the roof of my mouth. As for a replacement to Capt. Crunch, try Trix. Recently, they've made each piece much smaller and it doesn't hurt my mouth at all.
