What do you think (whether you're a woman or a man) of women who use their period as a means to be a you-know-what for a week or two? Personally, being a woman, I've never used that excuse but girls/women I know use it as a lame excuse to be rash and pig out on crap.

And I HATE it.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think since it's something we deal with all the time we need to learn to not be like that.

It's absolutely right on the money that women do have a good excuse during this time of the month. During that time, your body gets rushes with hormones that you aren't used to getting and no woman is the same. It's like being pregnant and craving foods, well it happens with the period as well. I personally will cry at almost anything, get mad over nothing, be depressed, and eat everything in the house. It's normal, it just may not happen to you.

Not all women use it as an excuse. Some women suffer from PMS alot more than others.I have a severe case of pms every month to the point I have to see a dr about it do I use it to pig out No but I know I become a total ***** and no one wants to around me for about 3 days.Over the counter meds like midol pamprin and the like do not help me.

I mean alot of times it is true that when you are on your cycle that it do make you want sweets and food that you dont normally eat and it makes you are all moody like a bit*h, but some pple do blow it way out the water and do use it as an excue. It dont happen to every woman but I do know that it happens to some, more often than they even expect.

it also troubles me, being with a gf with a fleeting case of PMS. but then i guess it would be good to understand people very well and be sensitive to their needs. after all, we taste different although we were created from the same dough.

I can get pretty cranky myself. But, I try to keep track and when I know it's getting close to my time, I tend to keep more to myself so that people don't upset me.

well.. I really don't know.. it varies from girl to girl..
it's the hormones and now one can tell actually, but if they want an excuse, give them one.. it shouldn't hurt ...

If you feel bad, then go ahead and use it, if not then don't. It is called telling the truth.

Go ahead! Use it! Just don't do it every month.
