for gaming I mean...

Firstly the feel of the console(ie.gamepads with dual shock..)

Then two player versus gaming...
(and multitab which enables upto 8 players against eachother on the same console...instead of buying 8 pcs!!)

Many games which come for the consoles are not available for the PC...

And ya...some ppl get the consoles as soon as they launch coz they want to show offf..
others get them so that they are not disturbed when they are gamin
(...if for example their PC is used by all the members of the family...lik the dad comes and wants to do his office work...mom wants to look up recipies on the net...n the sister wants to check her email n stuff...)

The bottomline is that its a major headache for most ppl dude...

Then upgradin the pc evrytime...to make it compatible with the console games is another issue...

Hope that answers your question

Because "just having a PC" is NOT enough! Unless you're willing to shell out hundreds of dollars to continuously upgrade your computer, and unless you buy a brand-new PC every six months or so, a console is going to outperform a PC. Also consider the fact that many games are never released for PC.

Alot of people prefer to own a system other thatn a pc as you can baisicly take them anywhere and you have alot games. With pc's you have limited Drive space and some games wont take the graphics card and junk like that

Some games don't run on PCs. There are som games you have to have a console (one or the other - different games run on different brands of consoles) that you simply can't run from the Dell Pentium III sitting on your desk in your home office.
