I have read a lot of crud about conspiracy theories on this which all don't make sense. If you could listen to yourself you would kill yourself on the spot. You remind me of Dale from the T.V. show, "The King of the Hill". You would have a more convincing argument if the wackos who believe this all had the same story. It was not an inside job, but I think it could have been prevented.

The lunatics who believe that 9/11 was an inside job do not make any sense. They should really come up with a combined theory before telling the world their incoherent ramblings. The terrorist attacks were not an inside job, but I do believe they could have been prevented. You people are like Dale from the T.V. show, "The King of the Hill."

Chunkamon, I agree that it 'could' have been prevented. However, given the screaming and yelling from Democrats with the relatively minor restrictions imposed to improve security after 9/11, just imagine how they'd holler themselves hoarse if Bush had done the same thing without 9/11 first occurring...
You can be sure the left would have been parading up and down Main Street waving Bush=NAZI flags ands screaming for his ouster if he had taken the actions that 'could' have prevented 9/11. For example, profiling Arabic/Moslem travelers, hunting down anyone who had overstayed their visas, arming pilots, imposing strict security screening at airports...
I agree with you that the conspiracy nuts are really nuts. They are too easily duped by disinformation.

We lack social skills? Edit: Oh, 9/11 theories. Sorry, I can't help ya on that one. Wasn't Dale a Vietnam Vet? Maybe he knew some things that others didn't?! Goodnight, sweet prince.

I think all of the unanswered questions, not releasing tapes, investigation blocking is suspicious? Why would our president block an investigation into a tragedy for over 100 days? Why is it so bad to ask questions of our government...isn't that the point of a democracy?

Newbie, your question is nonspecific.
What is up with (which) lunatics?........Where?
Whom are you asking to listen to themselves?
This is Ask, not a suicide hotline.
Deaths by Ask I bet are quite rare.
As to 9/11.......I can recommend several books; Fiasco by Thomas Ricks, Hubris, by David Corn and Michael Isikoff, Man in the Shadows by Efraim Halevy, lots more.
