Limewire well eat up your system resources and install hidden unwanted tracker software/spyware. Same goes for the others...
You can download complete catalogues of your favorite tv shows, movies, music.
Keep in mind, I do not condone the use of freeware as a means of piracy (wink **wink;)
It is technically illegal.
Look Into downloading torrent files via bit torrent.
I recommend azerus. requires some computer know-how, especially when you need to a separate program to decompress certain files such as iso files.

sorry..gotta go for limewire You just have to have a good anti-virus software. I've been using limewire since i can remember, and it has never given me viruses.
