Well, because of the gravitational pull emanating from the electrical socket which is repelling reality and attracting matter into an alternate universe from the last episode, the bystanders would lose their ground and fall into the socket, transporting them out of this layer of reality, and if it happened too quickly, a black hole would be formed, stretching the limits of the space time continuum, and causing the entire universe to collapse on itself.
