Me it was from a stranger I served as a customer
he had a delightful outlook on life
he gave me the advice as follows
"accept what you can not change, change what you can not accept"
for me there is never a truer word spoken
I try not to be angry and frustrated about things I can not change but where i can change them i work my ass off to change them, unfortunetly the line between things i can change and those i cant does get blurry
i am interested what is yours?

Said to me during Hell Day as I was doing flutter-kicks on a Pensacola beach in 100 degree heat during at 10 mile run that had my class bleeding from chaffing between our shorts and sand in salt water and debating QUITTING the program... I finished that day... and the 15 years after in service to the Navy and my country.
Now I'm fighting cancer... and I annoy the doctors and staff... when I finish the days chemo and haul my @ss up and go for a 2 mile jog...
