Wasn't everyone at some point? I got picked on a little, was born with a birth defect (very minor) but learned early in life, that if you didn't let people see that it bothered you, they stopped. Went to Shriner's hospital and they were wonderful at telling us we were only as handicapped as we think we are and if others teased or picked on us, then they really had the problem and not us.

Since kids can be cruel, sure people still got picked on --- but how you dealt with it ---showed your inner strength and made them look like idiots for picking on someone.

Yes as soon as the kids in school found out i was dyslexic i would get beat down every day, heck even the girls in school were mean to me. Then when my dad would get called into school by the teachers and tell my dad that i was getting picked on by the older and bigger kids, he would beat the crud out of me for being a weakling and i would get bullied at school and at home, it wasn't until high school that most of the bullying stopped, but only after i joined the football team as a defencive lineman. Most of the guys on the team had dads like mine so we all kinda stuck together, there was even a few times i caught my team mates bullying other students so i had to step in and break up the whole scene, when or if i ever have kids I'll make sure they learn to do whats right.

I was picked on once, and I solved that problem real quick by getting some of my friends to gather around with me the person who picked on me and I told this person that they must really feel good about them self picking on someone when they are by them self how about picking on all of us. the person couldn't say not one word, but just say I was just playing with her, after that I had no more problems with them. Problem solved, we became good friends. To this day I hate to see other kids pick on others.

Yes, because I was really smart and kind of a nerd and a tomboy growing up. Plus I was always taller and hit puberty earlier than anyone in my age group. I was awkward, body conscience and shy growing up.

I was always taller then everyone else. Every kid gets picked on in one way or another and anyone who says different is a liar.

For a while in school, but in sixth grade I got tired of it and slammed a geography book in a bully's face and broke his nose. Then people stopped messing with me.

My brother beat the crud out of me and my friends every day. Now I talk about it so I can let go of the resentment and not be a victim.
