A woman wants a man by her side all the time - not for sex, but to talk out her emotions.
A man gets fed up with the 'same old tune' which seems like nagging or complaining.
But to a woman, it is important to think aloud. So many a time, she will be talking to herself when no one is around.
Women get self-motivated when they are heard.
Words hit a woman harder than words hit a man.
The impact of the hit is stronger in women.
That's why 'women never forget and men never remember'.
Men almost always misunderstand that complaining means she has a problem which need to be solved. So man does everything in his willpower to try finding a solution to her problem. But, women are not looking for solutions. They don't want to move mountains, they just want to go 'audio'.
Men on the other hand prefer sound-proof environment.

How do I say LOL and convince you that it is not just a throwaway line. This is great stuff, as Johny Carson used to say. I heard some one say that there should be a moratorium on the word relationship. This is because when some one says "we need to talk about the relationship" it is just passive-aggressive for "I got a problem with you." I keep hearing how women are intuitive and in touch with their feelings and have a large vocabulary to speak about them in an expository fashion: I just have never heard the rap (I swear I have been listening). I think it is all just hype.

no we dont just complain to hear our self talk..we complain when men are not doing as they should.."we need to talk"..is just how it sounds obviously the lady needs to explain some things thats all

Why is it when women talk it's complaining but when men talk it is a discussion? You are lucky that she wants to communicate. It could be worse she could be just sleeping with your best friend since you don't feel like "talking".

that means she is one step away from being fed up with you. that is a red flag, if you care for her then you better get ready for a conversation. i dont understand why people get in a relationship and quick to jump into bed but when its time o discuss issues that may be threatening to the relationship, some guys just turn deaf and then wonder why she dumps him?
