Try checking the public library for crochet patterns of old toilet paper dolls. Good luck.

I HAVE ONE OF THOSE!!!!
My grandma made them years ago. He sits on a spare roll of toilet paper on the back of the toilet & he has a fishing pole with a little crocheted worm on the end....
Sorry, I don't have a pattern..
