i think that some people just need to feel superior to others and by making jokes about and putting others down because of their race it helps to fulfil that need of superiority

racism is a very old, and arrogant way for people to fall short of themselves. People say today, he got this because he's a minority, but in reality, he got it because he worked very hard to achieve it, I'm a brown skin Indian of east & west indian decent, i'm often confused for a hispanic male just because i speak spanish, but i guest that the concept never cross people's minds that a person other than that nationality can have the capabilty to speak another language. As far as religion and culture goes, i was born into a hindu home and cristened catholic. And witnessed racism within my own home, but growing up there openend my eyes, comes a time when you need to make your own footsteps and not follow in your grandfather's. And if you never realize, or open you eyes to the beauty and wonders of diffrent races, religion and cultures then you are doomed for the rest of your natural life. HOPE THIS HELPED?.

Wow! this answer will piss a lot of people off but.... In most cases racisim is self created I believe. the 50's-60's-70's are way behind us and people need to forget about that and move on. As for people of middle east descent that racisim is created by what has been going on there for a long time. Problems exist. But if our country would have learned its won buissness and let people alone things would have been better a long time ago. Black, white, asian, hispanic we are all only human. But the government needs to stop helping people that come here from other countries and make them deal with the same problems we all have. In a sense the government creates racism. People should have to work just as hard as any other american and pay for things like any other american. They shouldnt be handed free-bee's and special treatment. If it was bad where they came from they don't deserve anything better if they came here. Why do we owe them for there countires problems???

Racism is not just confined to Africa...In India there is some thing called Castism...discrimniation based on caste and in Idia there is no different coloured people !!!...so even if the people everywhere were of the same colour even then i think there would have been discrimination!!!
Thats just a human nature!!! Some people when they become successful also become insecure and dont want others to come up and take thier positions away...so they discriminate based on so many things....which is by denying them so many the prevelieges....the very same prevelieges that helped them to get to where they are like education entry to some places etc......its just one method of showing insecurity!!!

It seems like in group/out group hatred is a basic part of human psychology. Insecure groups often select a group that is different than them to project their own weaknesses and failings onto. Post-Civil War Southerners to Blacks and Catholics and Nazi Germans to Jews, for example. This makes them feel better about themselves, and helps to bind them together against a common 'enemy', forming a stronger group identity from which they gain the feeling of strength. They usually select groups of people who are relatively powerless and who cannot fight back. Think of it as bully mentality on a grander scale.

If you want to see a mind blowing propaganda movie example of this, get Birth of a Nation from your library or from Netflix. It's an American silent film (the first blockbuster film) which depicts white Southerners as helpless victims to the black Southerners in the Reconstruction South.

Racism is rooted in money, power, and control over others. When you feel you are superior than someone just because of your own skin color or how much money you have (which equates to power), you try to maintain that course for as long as you can ride it.

Racism still exists in this day and time, it is just played a different way.

People are scared of what they don't know or understand. Racism breeds racism, ignorance breeds more ignorance. And some people have one traumatic event in their life where they blame the race not the person.

many human beings think of that there is a extensive difference between the instructions of Jesus and how prepared religions, extremely Christianity, have manifested themselves. some human beings think of that Paul placed his very own spin on Christian concepts, and that includes sending Christianity is a direction that treats women as decrease than equals. on the very minimum, many human beings have chanced on that what Jesus substitute into speaking approximately...putting love into the international...is an exceedingly spectacular subject to do by using fact it makes the international a greater suited place, and it complements our very own lives. by using fact we've unfastened will...or, a minimum of i think of we do...it nonetheless comes all the way down to all and sundry human beings making those alternatives approximately how we intend to stay our lives.
