Why do commericals portray the white man that way ?? I would say that 99 % of all commericials have the white man being the looser and boob. Ugly , Stupid and FAT.
What is more disturbing is that whitey in this country does not even notice it. Or doesen't seem to care. It's all a big joke.

Because it WORKS. Commercials are created by marketing firms who do a lot of market research into what will sell their products the best. Its very expensive, but very effective.
Society's view of the white male is a complex issue, but in regards to commercials this is why. Same reason you see boobs and fast cars.
Also, consider what you're watching and what that programs target market is. If its a "man-show" (football, auto racing, hunting) then men don't need to see smart cultured and sexy men. At least most of us don't...

i think the commercials just portray men that way- most advertising is done for white folks demographics and most advertisers/advertising agencies(top brass) are men so maybe thats just how men are?
