Why does the US ignore the UN when it has a vested interest in its helpful invasion?

But it asks the question? Why dont the UN do something with Darfur? Why do they expect us to do something.
Though when Iraq "needed " their help in freeing them from the WMD * chuckle* we ignored the UN and gave them the helpful invasion and helpfully killed over 600,000 of them, and even helped them more by plunging their country into civil war.

Wait a second thought lets not help Darfur. things are bad enough there without America bumbling in and making things worse.

The UN is a corrupt, useless, pile of crap which represents petty dictatorships and equally corrupt socialist governments who operate by bribery and self interest.

The US, Japan and Great Britain should dump them. To deal with the UN is to negotiate with terrorists and state sponsors of terrorism.

The first major action of the UN was the Korean War (which never was resolved). Gee, that went really well, didn't it?

If the UN had the guts to police their stupid programs (like food for oil), Saddam would have had to back down and the US wouldn't have had to go to enforce UN resolutions.

The UN follows in the notorious tradition of the League of Nations, but it's more dangerous. It is absolutely stupid for member nations of the free world hang out and party with totalitarians.

Th UN is full of corrupt countries that steal the funds that they raise. Ask Co fee An non. His son is rich from his corrupt dealings. And as far as I can see, they hate the US. That is until they need our money or our military to save their sorry asses.
And as far a Dar fur goes...why don't you go down there and take care of it? You seem to know it all. Hell, why not take over the world? You seem to have it all figured out. Go to the UN they will raise tons money that will go into their individual pockets, and Dar fur will never see a penny of it. The US spends more on these lost causes than any other country. First of all stop making up figures we did not kill 600,000 Iraqis second history has repeated itself the League of Nations was disbanded because it was ineffective. The United Nations is basically ineffective. One of their major mistakes was letting anyone in, I think only representative governments should be allowed to join no dictators,or kingdoms, after all every other organizations have standards, cops don't allow criminals to join the force and firemen don't let known arsonist in.

have you ever witnessed anything that the UN could agree on? and then follow up on in a positive way.. Most of them are abunch of weenies that use the UN as a forum to complain..Personally I think we should lock the doors and tell them all to go home.. Maybe if they had to live and survive in their own countries they would have a change of heart.. send them all home starting with Annan
