I'd say buy now before the holidays. Manufacturers know people want to wait for Vista to come out, and since MS missed their deadlines it won't be available til the middle to end of January. Now since PC sales are highest at the holidays, manufacturers are drastically reducing the prices of their systems so they can hit their sales figures for the end of the year. i'd say buy now while they're giving them away, just make sure you get the free Vista upgrade coupon.

will depend on what kind of laptop.. If you getting apple/mac laptop.. they would not go on sale.. and you looking for laptop that is like dell.. or sony.. you should look it online.. before you go the store and buy it.. but the apple laptop is really great..i have a lot of things from apple store... so it up to you what you wanted to get...
