Don't believe anything from Wikipedia, it's amazing what they come up with. I personally don't believe it, you have to know if there were such a thing and the goverment knew about it we all would. This has been said about the goverment back in my mom's day. No way could they keep something secret that long.

Yes, there is a place that was once called Area 51. No, there are no extraterrestrial beings there. The US government, especially the military does a lot of things they want to keep secret. Unfortunately, in order for them to be able to this they have a policy not to confirm or deny anything. If they prove there were no aliens then refuse to prove something else, then everyone will know the something else is true. This is also why they haven't proved that man really did land on the moon or that an airplane crashed into the pentagon. Yes, there are people out there that don't understand that the Pentagon was built to withstand a war and that an aluminum airplane hitting it was like an egg hitting a brick wall, it smashed to pieces. These people claim there was no airplane, because the pieces are too small.

You know the gov't has many secrets and the reason the public is not made aware of them, is that the people, would not be able to handle certain things. So, lets say that there are aliens not from this world in area 51, could you handle it?? I think not. For the mose part as long as you go around believing only one thing, then thats all that matters. Every one has a secret or two, some good, some bad, some legal, some illegal, some morally wrong, and the list can go on and on. And the main reason that the gov't has many things under wraps, is for one thing, National Security.

How naive are you? The U.S. Government has been, and still is, suppressing a lot of information. Do you think George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Richard M. Nixon, or the two Bush's, their Secretary's of War, Defense, or any other department, tell the American people, or the world, the "truth"?
Forty-five years ago, I worked for a sub-contractor with a military contract to install underground missiles. Our offices were located on a SAC military base. Employees were required to sign government secrecy documents vowing that we would not speak with anyone, even our spouse, about the mission of our company. A thorough background check was initiated for all employees; fingerprints and photos were taken, sent to the FBI, CIA, and who knows what other government agency.
If the "government" protected the little bit of information I had (I was just a secretary) about missile sites, what lengths would be taken to suppress any knowledge of "Extraterrestrial Beings"?
What would you do if you did discover that "Extraterrestrial Beings" had been, or were here?

The Government would love for you to believe that they are keeping dead aliens and a crashed spaceship at Area 51, because that keeps you from asking what they are REALLY doing there - which is a whole bunch of high-tech Aerospace Engineering that has nothing to do with aliens or ET and everything to do with next-generation spy-plane and fighter-technology development.
The more nut jobs they can attract to the area, the more the press will dismiss real reports of actual incidents as the fevered imaginations of "those people."

I doubt if you would recognize the truth if you heard it. The military likes to keep secrets. A lot of research goes on at area 51. Our scientist and engineers are trying to keep their projects secret hoping to keep information about their projects secret while trying to get information on everyone else. Misinformation is a major tool. The alien myths plays into the misinformation role very well. Experiments on stealth technology probably fueled a lot of stories. There are plenty of covert activities associated with area 51. If you ever want to hear the truth, it isn't going to happen. Red herrings are the specialty and alien technology is the main coarse.

Its there.
You can look at it, see it physically, Take pictures but the governemnt will deny its even there. It has a private runway and a private juet that flys everyday almost. The workers go to the airport get on the plane and fly to work. Everything else is just theroy and fairy tails. The facts are you go there and the security is unbelieveable. There are alot Alien Nuts that have the borders mapped out.
The TRUTH its there
WHY? who knows.

There is an area 51 in Nevada. It is a base for testing new military gadgets (such as stealth aircraft). That is reason for the secrecy and the explanation for people who are looking to believe in aliens.
I stopped at a street corner near there once where they were selling "Alien Jerky" and bought some. Amazingly, it tasted just like the stuff you can buy in any store.

It is true and it does exist. I live on the outskirts of it, its right outside of las vegas. And yes it is an Air force base. They have top secrete operations and development of new air tech. Hence, its top secrete and you arnt supposed to know that much, haha, for once the government has something is top secrete and actually can keep a secrete. You wont find much, and you will never get to talk to someone who works there, and you will never get within 10miles from its borders.... as far as ET beings....well thats up to you to decide, and we will never know the truth unless the government recruits you to work there....BOL

Yes there's truth, but not all the conspiracy theory hype. It is a section of Kirkland Airforce Base I believe, or another one there in New Mexico, and it is simply a testing ground for weapons.
