I've never understood what the big deal is...we have many HIGHLY addictive opiates legalized (Oxycontin, morphine, etc) for medical use. Marijuana acts as a pain reliever and appetite stimulant for Cancer and AIDS pts, decreases intraocular pressure in glaucoma pts., etc. So, what's the big deal?

I think it should be legal anyway.....i don't actually smoke it (because its illegal) but its better for you than the cancer sticks (cigarettes) that people are smoking now!!! It would let cops worry more about getting the drugs like heroin and crack. Just my opinion

Honestly I do not think there is a good answer to this one othe than the goverment is firmly against it for some unknown reason even with tons of data upporting it's legalazation.

I find it useful for depression as well.

I believe that it should be legal for adults to consume it period with the same age laws as alcohol. It is safer than booze by far even when driving, however really you should be sober driving really. I am 49 and I smoke it from time to time.

However smoking anything is hard on the lungs therefor it is better to use a vaporizer to eliminate the dangers of lung cancer caused by smoking.

But some people can not control thier intake just like with booze and those people lives will be negitavly affected because it will control thier life.

Pot is less harmful than Cig's, and alcohol and in itself it is not physically addictive as is opiates and other drugs including alcohol. It can be physologically addictive to some people however. Finally moderation is the key to anything we intake including food.

Peace

They can't come out in favor of medical marijuana because they would appear soft on drugs and their opponents would chew them up, they can't come out against alcohol and tobacco because their campaigns are too in debt to the alcohol and tobacco lobbys for funding. It's a no win situation

I don't use any street drugs, but, I am not opposed to the legalization of marijuana, period. Far too many real crimes are committed and too many law-enforcement resources wasted because drugs far less harmful than tobacco or alcohol are deemed dangerous and therefore, illegal. Prohibition is just pointless.

If it is used for medical purposes...no I am not against.
I believe you should need a license for it and if you have any Cannabis(plant based drug) without a license then you should be arrested.Even though any medical drug can be dangerous, Marijuana is very popular and needs more control.

I dont have a problem with it. But most of the people on medical marijuana become drug dealers and sell it. SO.....thats kinda bad. HA!
