Ignore it, chances are your kid is feeling REAL GUILTY right now, and make sure that you make a BIG deal out of everything that child opens if you know for sure the gift was peeked at. I peeked at my presants one year I was 11. I felt like such a jerk, my whole Christmas was totally runied and I only did it to myself. Even though I always seemed to know where they were hidden, I NEVER peeked again!!!

Nothing, he/she ruined the surprise for him/herself. Besides, he/she is probably in bed right now just giddy with excitement of what they saw. Childhood is so short. Don't take away the magic from them. Society and age will do that in time.

When I was growing up, there was rarely a time I DIDN'T sneak to find out...hehehehe

Kids will be kids. Let them go. If they complain about what they get before opening, then make one of the ones they do want disappear. Make sure they know that you know, though. ;)

Well, it depends on the children's ages. My child is 8. I would confront him, and tell him they werent his and that he better not tell his cousins what they are. Then I would tell them its wrong to peek. Find a better hiding spot.

Ignore it and find a better hiding place. They are children and full of excitement and wonderment. Let them be kids.

Peace.
