A chopper would take a significant amount of time and money. Either of those could strain your marriage and the outcome might be uncertain. You may end up with a chopper you can't sell for what you have invested in it. Perhaps you might consider taking you son to a local motorcycle saftey federation class and both of you could get your motorcycle license there. (This assumes your son is of age.) Then you and your family can go on camping trips. Select campsites where you can rent a bike from a local Harley dealer. Imagine you and your wife on one bike and your son riding along on the other as you cruise a national park. (Hey, renting is cheaper than a monthly note. Would the strain of a monthly note be offset by the amount of riding you'd do?) The whole idea is to minimize the financial strain that many marriages suffer from and increase the amount of time you give to your family. The most valuable thing you have is your time. You don't have to build a chopper or go into debt to give your time to your family.

Sit down and eat dinner everynight. Make family time once or twice a week where you do something as a family. Invite your son to do things around the house with you, and show him the things that you know.

Be a good husband and spend quality time with your wife and son. Even though your life gets busy don't forget to devote at least some time for them. This will really make them feel that they are important to you. :)
