My mom wants me to get a virginity test from a doctor, can I actually get one??

'No she cant force you to get a test to find out whether you are still a virgin. And the "test" would simply be an internal exam by your doctor to see if your hymen is still intact. But she can't do it against your will. Just tell your mother you aren't a virgin. Even if you are...then you wont have to worry about the "test" anymore Shes trying to scare you. If you are having sex...a check up with your doctor isn't such a bad idea. You should be getting regular check ups if you are sexually active anyway. If you aren't comfortable with your family doctor. Go to planned parenthood or family planing in your area. You can get everything you need. With out your mother knowing about it. Your main concern should be taking care of your body. Make yourself a priority and let your mother be a nut job alone.

Virginity cannot be verified by test, and any doctor that's not a scam will tell her that.
The old myth about an intact hymen is likely what she is thinking about, but that is seldom intact past puberty, if you even had one to start with... many girls do not.
howver, she may know this, and told you that to see your reaction. You may have given her an answer by your reaction. If you freaked, or got all worried she knows you aren't a virgin anymore.

OMG! I don't know if it is actually legal in Texas, but you still have your individual rights. No ethical doctor is going to give your mom the thumbs up or thumb down while your legs are in the stirrups. Once you hit puberty, even if you still go to a pediatrician, you receive doctor/patient confidentiality.

I think she's trying to scare you. There is no test to definitively "prove" a woman or girl is a virgin. But she probably wants you to think there is so that you'll behave yourself.
Behave anyway. Sex is risky with STDs and being ultra fertile as a teenager. Work on making a career for yourself, studying and all that, and you'll be less miserable when you're older than you would be without that preparation. Therefore, sex will be better. :-D

Yes, but they mean almost nothing. If your hyman. (spelling?) is in place, you are a virgin. But they break some times even if you havent had sex. So if its there your mom will be happy, if it is gone she will wonder. Only you know for sure if you have or havent had sex. Im not surprised you live in Texas. Redneck state. hahahahahaha

Yes they are. They have them for Texas men also. They do this automatically, whenever a male gets a rectal exam in that state. It is sort of like killing two birds with one stone.

Tell your mom to lay off. how old are you? If you're under age I am certain she can take you to a doctor and have you checked out, but to me that's absolutely ridiculous. Where is she from?
