Human, a little bit of both, more sympathetic than cynical. Life is short, it's a waste of time being cynical, you get to loose so many precious moments.

Why can't a person be both? It's not as though these are opposite traits to have. I think I'm incredibly cynical, but I'm also pretty sympathetic. Maybe I don't understand the question . . .

Yes, I will sympathized up to a point then my eyes start to narrow in cynical suspicion if the story becomes too complex, lengthy or detail ridden. I have found liars love details and that is what trips them up.
