Pornography! Yup, I'm pretty much addicted and want to quit. Why? I'm really tired of myself doing this stuff again and again and again. I think somebody out there could provide some guidance.

You have an illness and it requires treatment. Some treatment may come from a doctor, preferably schooled in addictionology, a therapist, a 12 step group or other support groups. And btw, it is hard work, it is not easy to quit, if it was, there would be far fewer addicts.

Start with today, now, and do not feed your disease any more poison. Get through today. When you awake in the morning, vow to yourself that you will not feed your disease any more, but just for today!! You can make a different decision the day after, but for today, do not entertain the thought. Do whatever you need to do to not feed the disease.

Good luck to you.

Peace.

Try putting a pornography block on your computer if you can (such as a child safety program, etc.) Other than that, will power my friend. But don't stop cold turkey; doesn't work for many with addictions, only a few. Try easing you use daily buy gradually decreasing the amount of porn you view daily and weekly. You'll get there. Also, try picking up a new hobby. Maybe those suggestions would work. Worth a try, right?

That's an addiction, like any other. finding a real partner probably won't help much any more than finding a partner would help much someone who wanted to quit drinking or smoking. 12 step programs work pretty well for breaking various addictions, since they address the whole person and the dynamics of addiction. don't know if there's one for porn addicts but if there is, there you go. If not, find one that you can relate to, and join in. There is one for sex addicts, I know. Good luck!

Every time you start even thinking about smut... snap yourself in the sack with a rubber band. Just kidding.

Through it all away!

Spend time doing other stuff. Everytime, when you would have spent time in porn, go for a walk.. maybe window shop or hit a library... Chicks love to be hit on in libraries, no matter how you do it, it's a link somehow... its a great start to a relationship.

Find a hobby so you won't think about it so much. Or a job/jobs that keep you busy all the time, making money is a good hobby.

you need to get yourself a girlfriend buddy!!! that way you have the real thing instead of having to resort to this type of crap that doesnt even help (well not in the long run at least) and leaves you feeling guilty and out of control

IF YOU ARE STRAIGHT FIND A GIRLFRIEND, AND IF YOU ARE GAY FIND A MAN. THAT'S THE ONLY SOLUTION. I DON'T THINK YOUR ADDICTION IS TOO BAD, YOU ARE TRYING TO FULFIL YOUR SEXUAL DESIRE BY WATCHING PORN.
