These are Marvel and DC's closest counterparts. Both are super bright, wealthy, tremendous fighting skills, supreme strategists and tech-savvy.
I do have a favorite but I'll leave the decision to you guys/best argument. No ties... someone has to walk away a clear victor. Thanks!
PS: Environment doesn't play a role. These guys have fought everywhere, done everything.

batman is more skilled at virtually everything (but not by a landslide)... and bats always finds a way to win.... but this is a good match, kudos...

Did a little reading up on the Black Panter. He does have special skills and senses by eating a heart shaped herb in addition to the qualities you mentioned above. He is also suppose to be linked to the Goddess Bast.
Batman is basically the same as always. Just new tricks up his sleeve. All and all I would still put my money on Batman. He has survived too long and fought a lot of super villains with some awesome powers. I just don't see him loosing in the end.
Personally I don't like the name Black Panther. Maybe because of the Black Panther Party. I think they made a mistake naming a black super hero that. Yeah, I know the animal and all, but still.. I think they could and should have come up with something better without any negative connotations. I just think the name detracts from the character.

Hate to admit it but the Black Panther because he actually has the power and strength of a black panther from eating that plant back during his origin and plus since he knows alot about techno stuff and fighting He could probably withstand whatever Batman could throw at him. After all Batman is vigilante who's let his anger get the best of him at many times and has no actual Super human powers like Panther.

I’ve got to give this one to T’Challah, as he has Ororo to back him up, and they can double-team Wayne until he can’t stand any longer. I think the Panther relies less on is tech that Batman does. Though I believe that Wayne is the better in hand to hand combat, T’Challah’s limited degree of super strength will prove sufficient. Also, if he has the sense to arrange the fight on his native Wakandan soil, he will have the advantage there as well.
But I do not believe that the Panther or Storm would kill Batman. They would defeat him, render him helpless, then talk to him and find out why he was there, When they found out that his intentions were honorable, they would apologize, release him and team up to defeat the foe.

Batman could defeat anyone. All he needs is little study time then could defeat anyone.
Batman defeated the whole justice league and also super man 1v1 a couple times and super never won.

i think both are equally matched in the hero department,even though black panther's powers are more mystical than than man-made like batman.And the fact deep-thoughts made those ignorant comments shows that his thoughts are not that deep but horribly shallow.oh,and of course that he is a jackass that has access to a computer.

batman would slaughter the black panther in a one on one.
However I doubt even batman could raid wakanda to take him out in his own territory. Black panther, with his acess to the super metal vibranium would have a much better chance invading the bat-cave than reverse, but batman would still kick his ***.

Batman he's smarter and if he do get beat up or something if black panther try to take off his mask some type of gas is gonna come out and he can press a botton on his belt to call the bat mobile so it will run over black panther
